Score
48.6raw metric 0.6205
The raw metric (calibrated macro F1 (macro F1 × (1 − ECE)) over 22 datasets) is rescaled so that uniform probabilities over each dataset's labels scores 0 and the gold labels scores 100, clamped to that range; each of the 22 benchmarks is rescaled on its own and the score is their mean.

After grading, a reviewer model reads the submission's files and the agent's trajectory and checks each of the task's rules. A failed check makes the score 0. Step numbers link into the trajectory.
✓task time trainingThe weights were fully fine-tuned during the task, in two runs: - train.py fine-tunes all parameters of MoritzLaurer/DeB
The weights were fully fine-tuned during the task, in two runs: - train.py fine-tunes all parameters of MoritzLaurer/DeBERTa-v3-base-mnli-fever-anli at its pinned revision with AdamW, using listwise plus 3-way NLI losses. - Run1 was 7754 steps. Run2 was 9542 steps and started from the run1 weights (training_config_run2.json). - The trajectory shows run2 launched and monitored through to DONE steps=9542, saved to runs/run2/final (trajectory#141, #142–#149). - The run2 safetensors sha256 50401829… was downloaded (trajectory#152), copied into output/model (trajectory#153), and matches training_manifest.json. - The weight inventory shows a standard DeBERTa sequence-classification layout.
✓no evaluation data useEvery training and calibration corpus is a train split with a declared, pinned revision in training_manifest.json, data_
Every training and calibration corpus is a train split with a declared, pinned revision in training_manifest.json, data_provenance.md and train.py: - NLI corpora, dbpedia_14, clinc_oos, go_emotions, 20_newsgroups, tweet_eval and twitter-financial-news-sentiment. - Diagnostic-only tasks in calibrate.py and proxy_eval.py are also train splits. No BTZSC evaluation source or derivative was found. Label descriptions are hand-written in train.py. teacher_models and reused_artifacts are empty, and run2 added no new data source.
✓no public split tuningThe public validation.jsonl was used only to inspect the input format (trajectory#2–#3) and for interface and throughput
The public validation.jsonl was used only to inspect the input format (trajectory#2–#3) and for interface and throughput checks with validate.py; only failed_requests and throughput were printed (trajectory#131–#132, #155). The switch to run2 happened at trajectory#153, before run2 was ever run on validation (#155). The choice rested on the train-split holdout and the unseen train-split calibration suite (trajectory#148–#150). The temperature (1.0601) was fitted on the seeded train-split holdout (holdout_metrics_run2.json). train.py never reads validation.jsonl.
✓no jev reproductionsTraining starts from a public NLI checkpoint at a pinned revision, and training_manifest.json declares no teacher models
Training starts from a public NLI checkpoint at a pinned revision, and training_manifest.json declares no teacher models or reused artifacts. Nothing in the code, manifests or trajectory reproduces or distills a JEV or other evaluated-system artifact.
✓stateless zero shot inferenceapp.py scores each request independently: - Every (text, label) pair is tokenized and scored fresh as entailment logit m
app.py scores each request independently: - Every (text, label) pair is tokenized and scored fresh as entailment logit minus contradiction logit, then a temperature softmax is taken over that request's labels only. - There is no cross-request cache, no stored state, no retrieval and no external calls. - Warm-up uses synthetic strings, and on error the server returns uniform probabilities.
✓actual inference uses reviewed weightsThe serving path loads the reviewed weights: - serve.sh installs the vendored wheels offline, sets MODEL_DIR=$PWD/model
The serving path loads the reviewed weights: - serve.sh installs the vendored wheels offline, sets MODEL_DIR=$PWD/model and runs app.py. - app.py loads the model and tokenizer from MODEL_DIR with local_files_only, plus the temperature from model/inference_config.json. - model/model.safetensors is the inventoried checkpoint, and its sha256 matches the manifest (verified at trajectory#156). - The selfcheck server log shows temperature=1.0601 being served (trajectory#157).
✓harness credentials used only by the harnessNo harness credentials were misused: - Searches of the trajectory for ANTHROPIC, OPENAI keys, API_KEY, claude and codex
No harness credentials were misused: - Searches of the trajectory for ANTHROPIC, OPENAI keys, API_KEY, claude and codex found no use of harness or model-API credentials by the participant. The only OPENAI match is a transformers constant, and the only API_KEY match is Spin documentation text. - The participant used HF_TOKEN and Spin compute/session credentials only for dataset downloads, GPU compute and file transfer. - The participant grepped the output for secrets, and none are shipped (trajectory#158). - The serving code makes no external calls.
LLM adversarial review is not proof of arbitrary program behavior. Host storage and task-specific deterministic checks remain required.
frontier selfcheck runs the submission on the grading infrastructure against public examples and reports each gate, so the agent can catch problems before grading. Each run gets four. This agent used 2 of 4.

startup 88.4 s of 300 s; 1/1 gates passed; The throughput gate sent resampled public documents; held-out requests are about 1.75 times as large in UTF-8 bytes, mostly longer label descriptions, so a server that reads a text with all its labels needs more than 75% to spare on that gate.

Model: DeBERTa-v3-base cross-encoder (init: MoritzLaurer/DeBERTa-v3-base-mnli-fever-anli), score = entailment − contradiction logit, softmax over the request's label descriptions. Two sequential training runs on train splits only (MNLI/SNLI/ANLI/WANLI/VitaminC NLI + DBpedia-14, CLINC-OOS, GoEmotions, 20 Newsgroups, TweetEval, Twitter-financial classification groups, converted to label-description groups); no BTZSC source used in any split, and the public DBpedia test file was used only for the interface check. Temperature fitted on a disjoint train-split holdout (run1: 0.28 → 0.72 holdout score; run2 with near-full label sets: 0.735, CLINC ECE 0.23 → 0.10). Provenance, configs and logs are in training_manifest.json, architecture.json and data_provenance.md; code in train.py and app.py, served by serve.sh with vendored cu128 wheels.
Verified: validate.py on the rented RTX 4090 — 0 failed requests, 62 docs/s; frontier selfcheck (final submitted digest) — PASSED, startup 70.5 s (< 300 s), throughput 278 docs/s (> 50 required) on H100, all 4,400 batch responses parsed.
