Score
24.8raw metric 0.4673
The raw metric (calibrated macro F1 (macro F1 × (1 − ECE)) over 22 datasets) is rescaled so that uniform probabilities over each dataset's labels scores 0 and the gold labels scores 100, clamped to that range; each of the 22 benchmarks is rescaled on its own and the score is their mean.

After grading, a reviewer model reads the submission's files and the agent's trajectory and checks each of the task's rules. A failed check makes the score 0. Step numbers link into the trajectory.

The weights come from training done during the task. train.py fine-tuned microsoft/deberta-v3-base (rev 8ccc9b6f) as a 3-way NLI model on a Spin-leased H100 during the session (launched at trajectory#58, finished at trajectory#117 with 7936 steps). training.log, training_metadata.json and training_manifest.json record that run. The shipped model/model.safetensors hash fc7c4e49… matches the bundle pulled back from the GPU (trajectory#131) and the manifest (trajectory#134). The checkpoint is a DeBERTa-v3-base encoder with a newly trained [3,768] classifier head. No teacher models or reused artifacts are declared.

No evaluation data was used. Training and calibration data are only the MultiNLI train parquet (nyu-mll/multi_nli rev da70db2a, declared in data_manifest.json and download.log). The training log states that no validation or test file was downloaded or loaded (trajectory#60). The local validation.jsonl was only listed with ls -l and its contents were never read (trajectory#82). No BTZSC source datasets were used.

Nothing was tuned on a public split. The temperature (1.2081, in model/temperature.json) was fitted on a disjoint 3% holdout of the MultiNLI train split (seed 1234) inside train.py. The hypothesis template and hyperparameters are fixed in training_config.json and train.py. validate.py was used only for server failure, throughput and latency checks, and no accuracy scores were printed or used to make choices (trajectory#143, trajectory#149).

No JEV material was used. The only base model is microsoft/deberta-v3-base, and the only data is the MultiNLI train split plus a synthetic hypothesis-prefix augmentation built in train.py. teacher_models and reused_artifacts are empty in training_manifest.json. No JEV checkpoint, dataset or reproduction appears in the code, manifests or trajectory.

Inference is stateless and zero-shot. serve.py scores each request by building the NLI hypothesis 'This text can be described as follows: {label}' from that request's labels, taking the entailment log-probability after temperature scaling and applying softmax over those labels. Dynamic batching only groups concurrent requests and keeps no state between them. serve.sh runs offline with HF_HUB_OFFLINE and TRANSFORMERS_OFFLINE, with no external API calls and no caching or adaptation from test requests.

The server loads the reviewed weights. serve.sh runs `python serve.py --model-dir $ROOT/model`, and serve.py loads the model with local_files_only from model_dir (model/model.safetensors, which matches the reviewed tensor inventory) plus model/temperature.json. The hashes in training_manifest.json were checked against the shipped files (trajectory#134, trajectory#164). The wheels, including torch 2.8.0+cu128, passed trusted binary audits.

Harness credentials were used only for harness purposes. The harness-issued Spin transfer session (trajectory#42) and SSH key (trajectory#89) were used only to reach the leased GPU and to move the trained model bundle through Spin S3 storage (trajectory#120, trajectory#126 to trajectory#129). The temporary credential files were deleted after the lease ended (trajectory#162). serve.py makes no external calls and uses no harness or judge keys.
LLM adversarial review is not proof of arbitrary program behavior. Host storage and task-specific deterministic checks remain required.
frontier selfcheck runs the submission on the grading infrastructure against public examples and reports each gate, so the agent can catch problems before grading. Each run gets four. This agent used 1 of 4.

startup 79.8 s of 300 s; 1/1 gates passed; The throughput gate sent resampled public documents; held-out requests are about 1.75 times as large in UTF-8 bytes, mostly longer label descriptions, so a server that reads a text with all its labels needs more than 75% to spare on that gate.

The submission includes serve.sh, training code, training manifest, and architecture evidence, along with weights and offline dependencies.
Checks passed: frontier selfcheck measured 79.8-second startup and 183 documents/s on an H100; all 4,400 responses parsed. The local validator also returned valid responses without failures. Its diagnostic score was not used for tuning.
