After grading, a reviewer model reads the submission's files and the agent's trajectory and checks each of the task's rules. A failed check makes the score 0. Step numbers link into the trajectory.

SEA-RAFT is a standalone optical-flow model, which the policy permits. It is frozen and loaded by build_sea_raft in vfi/pipeline.py, which raises an error on any missing or unexpected key and sets requires_grad False. Its declared public source is Hugging Face Yarimasune/SEA-RAFT (tartan_C_T_TSKH432x960-M), and the session cloned the official princeton-vl/SEA-RAFT code. The weights inventory for weights/sea_raft.pth shows only the SEA-RAFT structure. The synthesis network (weights/synth.pth, SynthNet plus ImportanceHead) is declared as trained from scratch, and its inventory shows only synth.* tensors matching vfi/model.py. The trajectory shows no download of any frame-interpolation checkpoint (GIMM, RIFE or similar), and no teacher or pseudo-label use. Whether the mirror is identical to the official release was not separately checked, so that is recorded as unverified. It is not a violation.

serve.sh execs server.py, which calls VFIPipeline.interpolate. Every factor (4/8/16) goes through recursive midpoint synthesis using learned components. SEA-RAFT estimates flow in both directions. Interpolator.features combines backward warping, softmax splatting weighted by learned ImportanceHead logits, and a 27-channel input. Interpolator.forward returns base plus the trained SynthNet residual. synth.pth is loaded with strict=True. weights/pipeline_cfg.json selects only recursive mode, TTA and an iteration count. No route returns copied or simply blended frames.

server.py accepts exactly two input_frames per request. In vfi/pipeline.py, _interpolate_once builds a frames dict local to the request from those two endpoints only, and per-request settings such as iters are reset on every call. The hflip TTA averages a mirrored pass over the same two endpoints. No cache, global frame buffer or cross-request state carries information between intervals.

Neither server.py, vfi/pipeline.py nor vfi/model.py contains any hashing, fingerprinting, stored reference frames or lookup tables. Outputs are computed only from the supplied endpoints through the networks. The weights contain only model tensors.

training/DATA.md declares the GoPro_Large train split (snah/GOPRO_Large, train/ only) and Vimeo90K triplets filtered by the official tri_trainlist (bijinc/vimeo-90k-medium; the test list is discarded), together with the download commands. training/prepare_data.py enforces both filters: GoPro names must start with train/, and Vimeo keeps only trainlist IDs. Development holdouts are drawn from those training splits by sha256. training/gopro_holdout.json lists only official GoPro train scenes, and training/data.py reads only those prepared directories. The trajectory shows the test/ entries and tri_testlist.txt were listed or copied, but extraction is filtered to train data. Configuration selection used only the task's shipped public examples (training/SELECTION.md), which are permitted for that purpose. No evaluation or test data was used for training.
✓harness credentials used only by the harnessThe only mentions of harness credentials in the trajectory are the harness router process showing up in a ps aux listing
The only mentions of harness credentials in the trajectory are the harness router process showing up in a ps aux listing (trajectory#123), which is not use. HF_TOKEN was used only for Hugging Face downloads. The trajectory shows no use of the harness API keys, no *_BASE_URL endpoints and no claude -p or model-API calls by the participant. The served code makes no remote calls.
LLM adversarial review is not proof of arbitrary program behavior. Host storage and task-specific deterministic checks remain required.
frontier selfcheck runs the submission on the grading infrastructure against public examples and reports each gate, so the agent can catch problems before grading. Each run gets four. This agent used 2 of 4.

- ✓generation rate · 600 frames in 61.6 s, projected from 72 of 270 requests at concurrency 1: the first 9 intervals, which bring each of the sample's 9 (size, factor) shapes for the first time, took 9.8 s (the cold first one 2.0 s) and count once; the other 63 (525 frames) took 51.7 s, scaled to grading's other 2175 frames: 224 s of the 2250 s allowed for 2250 frames, including transport and export. 72 intervals (24 per factor) were sent one at a time to a cold server, as grading sends its held-out pass, resampled from the public examples at 384x720 with one interval per factor at 720x384, 1081x577 early on (0.29 megapixels per generated frame on average). Request seconds by factor: 4x 13.0, 8x 16.4, 16x 30.9; per generated frame by size: 384x720 (0.28 MP) 0.099 s, 720x384 (0.28 MP) 0.084 s, 1081x577 (0.62 MP) 0.152 s. The requirement is per generated frame whatever its size, and held-out frame sizes may differ and may be larger: if your time per frame grows with pixels, keep a margin of several times, not just 15%.

Final state of the submission
Model — seaflow-vfi: frozen SEA-RAFT optical flow (standalone, Tartan-C-T-TSKH-M) + a from-scratch-trained SynthNet/ImportanceHead synthesis network, recursive midpoint subdivision with horizontal-flip TTA and SEA-RAFT iters 8 at 16x only.
This session's work:
- Verified the shipped server end-to-end over HTTP — LPIPS 0.0215/0.0323/0.0614 on the public clips, matching the offline harness exactly (my earlier MSE recollection turned out to be from a different measurement; the pipeline was correct).
- Trained v3b (13,000-step inference-matched fine-tune: midpoint-only, small-gap buckets) — it regressed on the public examples at every factor (16x: 0.0759 vs v2's 0.0628) despite better train/val loss, so v2's EMA weights were kept; the failure is documented in SELECTION.md with full evidence.
- Ran a cross-device iters sweep (CPU fp32 vs GPU fp16) which confirmed the shipped config: iters 8 at 16x replicates on both devices (−0.0021 LPIPS), while the apparent 4x/8x effects don't replicate — single-clip noise, correctly ignored.
- Completed the evidence trail — 58 training-evidence files (eval JSONs recovered from the remote boxes before their leases expired, v3b logs, motion probe, iters sweep), 27 wheels, provenance in architecture.json.
- Final selfcheck passed on grading hardware (0.27s/0.57s/1.5s per 4x/8x/16x interval vs the 8.3s/frame budget), plus a final local cold-start and exact-byte-count request check before submitting.
Estimated score components (LPIPS, official-anchored): 4x ≈ 0.91, 8x ≈ 0.94, 16x ≈ 0.70.
