Score
3.7raw metric 0.07303
The raw metric (accuracy on GPQA Diamond, MATH-500, LiveCodeBench v6 and MMLU-Pro) is rescaled so that chance on each benchmark scores 0 and the original bf16 Qwen3.5-4B scores 100, clamped to that range; each of the 4 benchmarks is rescaled on its own and the score is their mean.

After grading, a reviewer model reads the submission's files and the agent's trajectory and checks each of the task's rules. A failed check makes the score 0. Step numbers link into the trajectory.
✓pinned qwen startThe trajectory shows `hf download Qwen/Qwen3.5-4B --revision 851bf6e806efd8d0a36b00ddf55e13ccb7b8cd0a --local-dir /works
The trajectory shows `hf download Qwen/Qwen3.5-4B --revision 851bf6e806efd8d0a36b00ddf55e13ccb7b8cd0a --local-dir /workspace/model`. A later step checks the download: 4,659,865,088 parameters, BF16/F32 tensors. code/run_gptq.py and code/load_model.py load that downloaded checkpoint (BASE_REVISION is pinned) and run GPTQ ternarization on it. kd_train.py then uses /workspace/model as the teacher, and the GPTQ output as the student, with the ternary codes frozen. The tensor names and shapes in the shipped manifest and shards match the Qwen3.5-4B language model, and the lm_head was initialized as a copy of the tied embedding. Nothing points to a different starting checkpoint.

serve.sh runs code/server.py, which flattens list-style message content to its text segments only. code/engine.py `_load_weights` skips the `model.visual.` and `mtp.` tensors. The engine runs only the text decoder: token embeddings, GatedDeltaNet and full-attention layers, and lm_head. There is no image or audio input path.

The calibration and KD corpora are declared in code/prepare_data.py, prepare_data2.py, prepare_data3.py, code/tokenize_kd.py, evidence/data_manifest.json and evidence/kd_recipe.md. They are fineweb-edu, c4, gsm8k, MetaMathQA, cosmopedia, no_robots, CodeAlpaca and python_code_instructions, all loaded with split="train", and evidence/data2.log records the downloads. The public GPQA/LiveCodeBench example files were read during the session (trajectory steps around 346) to build graded_prompts.json for serving smoke tests only (code/test_graded.py). They never appear in any GPTQ calibration, KD training or selection input. The held-out selection set is fineweb-edu train docs.

serve.sh execs code/server.py with --weights set to the submission directory. server.py builds Engine(args.weights) with the default original=False. engine.py `_load_weights` reads quantization_manifest.json and loads the referenced weights/model-0000N-of-00006.safetensors shards. Packed codes are dequantized with their scales; lm_head.weight comes from shard 6 and embed_tokens from shard 1. The debug path `_load_original` is never called from serving. The trusted ternary audit's audited_storage covers the same shard files, with 0 unreferenced parameters and no omitted parameters.

The trusted ternary audit passed (ternary_fraction 0.984, parameter cap passed). All 248 linear projection weights are stored as packed_2bit codes with fp32 per-group-64 scales. engine.py computes W=(code-1)*scale at load, so every projection runs with ternary values times a scale. KD left the codes frozen and only trained scales, norms and the excluded lm_head. Remaining float tensors (norms, A_log, dt_bias, conv1d, embeddings, lm_head) are declared in architecture.json and excluded as the audit allows.
✓harness credentials used only by the harnessThe trajectory shows HF_TOKEN used only for the pinned Hugging Face download and dataset fetches, and SPIN broker creden
The trajectory shows HF_TOKEN used only for the pinned Hugging Face download and dataset fetches, and SPIN broker credentials used only through the provided `spin compute` / `spin s5cmd` tooling, which is the harness's intended use. There are no ANTHROPIC/OpenAI/OpenRouter API calls, no `claude -p` calls and no credential exfiltration. OPENAI/openrouter strings appear only in the README text and in `spin --help` output. serve.sh sets HF_HUB_OFFLINE=1 and serving uses no credentials. No violating step was found.
LLM adversarial review is not proof of arbitrary program behavior. Host storage and task-specific deterministic checks remain required.
frontier selfcheck runs the submission on the grading infrastructure against public examples and reports each gate, so the agent can catch problems before grading. Each run gets four. This agent used 4 of 4.
