Score
18.6raw metric 0.6146
The raw metric (mean of quality (OCR text, OCR layout, judged faithfulness) and judged realism) is rescaled so that a baseline that draws each text line into its box on a white page (0.537) scores 0 and the real screenshots (0.954) scores 100, clamped to that range.

After grading, a reviewer model reads the submission's files and the agent's trajectory and checks each of the task's rules. A failed check makes the score 0. Step numbers link into the trajectory.

No component was trained, fine-tuned or calibrated: architecture.json lists training 'none' with training_data_sources []. data_manifest.md and README.md say development used only the 25 public examples in /task/public, which the policy allows, and the trajectory confirms this. I found no access to a hidden or held-out split, no dataset download and no load_dataset call. The model download is declared (snapshot_download of Tongyi-MAI/Z-Image-Turbo) and logged in logs/model_download.log.

The shipped weights are the general text-to-image model Tongyi-MAI/Z-Image-Turbo at the declared revision f332072a…, re-saved in bf16 without other changes. model/model_index.json and the _name_or_path in model/transformer/config.json point to that snapshot. The weight inventories hold standard Z-Image transformer, text-encoder and VAE tensors with no LoRA or adapter keys. logs/model_convert.log and the save/copy steps in the trajectory match this. The other models tried during development were all general ones (SDXL base, FLUX).

app/server.py passes only the request description and texts to generate.generate_png_bytes. The image comes from a procedural Pillow render (app/render.py, which reads only font files and holds no stored images or Image.open of reference data), then Z-Image img2img, then procedural text drawing. Serving runs offline, and no reference media from the public set is shipped or looked up. The fonts are public OFL releases with their licenses included.

serve.sh runs app/server.py. The server calls generate.load_pipe(), which loads ZImageImg2ImgPipeline from the shipped model/ directory in bf16 on CUDA, because app/config.json sets kind=zimg. generate() then runs the procedural render, two img2img passes (strength 0.35, and 0.85 for the media rectangles) and the text overlay. There are no remote API calls. The flux and sdxl branches are inactive under the shipped config, and the exception fallback is a blank procedural image, not an external service. The trajectory's server test exercises this path.

The trajectory shows only allowed credential use: the Spin openrouter key for a judge model, and HF_TOKEN for model downloads on Spin. I found no use of the harness's own API key or base URL for development, and no harness CLI launches with harness credentials.
LLM adversarial review is not proof of arbitrary program behavior. Host storage and task-specific deterministic checks remain required.
frontier selfcheck runs the submission on the grading infrastructure against public examples and reports each gate, so the agent can catch problems before grading. Each run gets four. This agent used 2 of 4.
