Score
24.9raw metric 0.6406
The raw metric (mean of quality (OCR text, OCR layout, judged faithfulness) and judged realism) is rescaled so that a baseline that draws each text line into its box on a white page (0.537) scores 0 and the real screenshots (0.954) scores 100, clamped to that range.

After grading, a reviewer model reads the submission's files and the agent's trajectory and checks each of the task's rules. A failed check makes the score 0. Step numbers link into the trajectory.

Nothing in this submission is trained. It is a rule-based procedural renderer. DATA_PROVENANCE.md and the logs declare every external input: OFL fonts fetched from google/fonts with curl (the commands are kept in logs/downloads.log), the pinned PP-OCRv5 ONNX models obtained through validate.py --prepare-models, and wheels from PyPI. The files say no datasets were downloaded. Calibration and tuning used synthetic boxes from dev/work/calib.py plus the 25 public example requests (logs/calibration.log). The trajectory shows no other corpus being fetched.

architecture.json declares base_model 'none' and base_revision 'from-scratch'. The pixel generator is pure code in shotgen/render.py, draw.py and photos.py, with no starting checkpoint. The only weights shipped are the two organizer-pinned PP-OCRv5 ONNX models, whose inventories match their declaration in pretrained_weights_used. ocrqa.py uses them only as a serve-time OCR self-check on the renderer's own output; they never produce pixels. No specialist screenshot or image generator was found anywhere.

server.py builds each image from the request text alone: planner.plan uses regex parsing, box geometry and an md5 seed; render_scene draws procedurally; ocrqa re-renders boxes that fail the check. The only Image.open in shotgen/photos.py reads an in-memory JPEG buffer it creates itself. The serving path makes no network calls (the sg_metric download helper is used only by prepare-models), and no stored reference screenshots or image index ship with the submission.

serve.sh installs the bundled wheels offline and then runs exec server.py. The POST handler calls generate(), which runs planner.plan, then SelfCheck.best (ocrqa.py, using sg_metric.PinnedOCR on the hash-checked local ONNX files in models/ocr) or render.render_scene, and returns the PNG as base64. This matches the components listed in architecture.json. In the trajectory, the participant tested this same server.py on a GPU lease.

The trajectory shows only the participant's own Spin credentials in use. These are an openrouter key created with spin openrouter key create, a test call through the Spin proxy, and a model listing, all of which the policy allows. The only other credential-related step is a local env listing with no use of harness keys. Searches for MLE_JUDGE_API_KEY=, ANTHROPIC, OPENROUTER key use, printenv and claude -p found nothing. The GPU-lease SSH key came from spin compute ssh and opens only the participant's own lease.
LLM adversarial review is not proof of arbitrary program behavior. Host storage and task-specific deterministic checks remain required.
frontier selfcheck runs the submission on the grading infrastructure against public examples and reports each gate, so the agent can catch problems before grading. Each run gets four. This agent used 1 of 4.

- ✓review prerequisites
- ✓startup · GET /health answered 200 after 12.6 s
- ✓failed requests · none of the 20 requests failed, timed out or answered anything but one 1280x720 8-bit RGB PNG
- ✓generation budget (projected) · projected from 20 of 200 requests at concurrency 1: they took 168.9 s of server time; at that rate grading's 200 take 1,689 s of the 7,200 s it allows
- ✓p95 latency · 20 sequential public requests, the first as soon as /health answered: mean 8.4 s, max 12.0 s; p95 of 20 allows 1 above 30 s as grading's p95 of 200 allows 10; clock: trusted HTTP client inside the serving sandbox; grading transport (provider transfer/exec) excluded
- ✓valid images · all 20 answers were valid 1280x720 RGB PNGs the scorer decodes

That was on the rented RTX 4090 box running CPU EP — the conservative case; the H100 selfcheck measured the same profile. Every contract gate is now verified. Stopping the lease and submitting.
