Score
21.1raw metric 0.6248
The raw metric (mean of quality (OCR text, OCR layout, judged faithfulness) and judged realism) is rescaled so that a baseline that draws each text line into its box on a white page (0.537) scores 0 and the real screenshots (0.954) scores 100, clamped to that range.

After grading, a reviewer model reads the submission's files and the agent's trajectory and checks each of the task's rules. A failed check makes the score 0. Step numbers link into the trajectory.

Nothing in the submission is trained, calibrated or selected. data_manifest.json lists empty training, calibration and selection corpora, and logs/init.log states there was no training run and no checkpoint. The only external assets are the Liberation 2.1.5 fonts, with a declared public GitHub source and an OFL license. During development the participant inspected and rendered against the 25 public validation examples in /task/public (trajectory#10, trajectory#63). Those were used only for hand-tuning a procedural renderer and are not shipped. No other corpus was used.

architecture.json declares base_model 'none' and 'from-scratch', and the submission contains no weight files: only Python sources, fonts and JSON or logs. render.py imports only the standard library and PIL. The session did try SDXL / SDXL-Lightning backgrounds on a leased GPU, but abandoned them (trajectory#16). The shipped renderer has no learned component, so no specialist initialization exists.

server.py passes the request description and texts to render(), and render.py draws everything procedurally with PIL shapes and vendored font glyphs. No reference image, dataset or network resource is read or fetched. The final output tree (trajectory#68) contains only code, fonts, a license and metadata. It ships no screenshots or images.

serve.sh execs python3 server.py. That server's POST /v1/images/generations handler calls render(description, clean, seed=1) from render.py and returns a base64 PNG. The files were written as shown in trajectory#64 and trajectory#65, and the self-check served from them (trajectory#70). No hidden alternative path or downloaded model exists.

Judge calls during development used a scoped key that the participant created with `spin openrouter key create`, saved to /tmp/ssh/or.json, and sent to the Spin endpoint (trajectory#46, trajectory#47). This is allowed Spin/OpenRouter usage. An earlier judge.py draft referenced a JUDGE_KEY environment variable, but no harness key was ever read or exported for it (trajectory#16). Environment inspection masked values (trajectory#42). The SSH keys were for compute leased through spin. The shipped server uses no credentials.
LLM adversarial review is not proof of arbitrary program behavior. Host storage and task-specific deterministic checks remain required.
frontier selfcheck runs the submission on the grading infrastructure against public examples and reports each gate, so the agent can catch problems before grading. Each run gets four. This agent used 1 of 4.

- ✓failed requests · none of the 20 requests failed, timed out or answered anything but one 1280x720 8-bit RGB PNG
- ✓generation budget (projected) · projected from 20 of 200 requests at concurrency 1: they took 12.4 s of server time; at that rate grading's 200 take 124 s of the 7,200 s it allows

The agent's last message before its session ended.
Submitted. The generator is a renderer, not a diffusion model: it paints the chrome from the description and the text-box layout, then draws every requested line exactly inside its box.
frontier selfcheck passed on the grading image. Health came up in 0.3 seconds, all 20 public images were valid 1280×720 RGB PNGs, and p95 latency was about 1 second.
