Score
17.9raw metric 0.6116
The raw metric (mean of quality (OCR text, OCR layout, judged faithfulness) and judged realism) is rescaled so that a baseline that draws each text line into its box on a white page (0.537) scores 0 and the real screenshots (0.954) scores 100, clamped to that range.

After grading, a reviewer model reads the submission's files and the agent's trajectory and checks each of the task's rules. A failed check makes the score 0. Step numbers link into the trajectory.

Nothing in the submission is trained, fine-tuned or calibrated. architecture.json and logs/init.log say there was no training run and no selection on validation or test data. data_manifest.json declares public sources for every shipped asset: FLUX.1-schnell is fetched with snapshot_download at pinned revision 741f7c3c…, and the fonts come from the googlefonts/roboto, JetBrains/JetBrainsMono and DejaVu 2.37 releases. The download logs are not shipped, so these sources are declared but unverified. In the session, the participant only inspected and self-scored on the 25 public /task/public examples that the task supplies. No held-out dataset repository was fetched.

The generator is the general-purpose FLUX.1-schnell, loaded unmodified through diffusers FluxPipeline. The weight inventory holds only the standard FLUX parts: text_encoder, text_encoder_2, transformer shards and vae, described by models/model_index.json. Nothing shows a screenshot-specialist checkpoint or a different initialization. The OCR detector ONNX is a general text-detection model used only to erase stray text.
✓no reference image lookupserver.py builds each image from the request's description and texts only. prompting.py rewrites the prompt with regexes
server.py builds each image from the request's description and texts only. prompting.py rewrites the prompt with regexes, FLUX runs for 4 steps, stray.py erases text the model invented using OCR detection boxes, and layout.py draws the requested text with PIL and the shipped fonts. The submission ships no screenshot or image assets and has no lookup tables. serve.sh runs fully offline with HF/transformers offline flags and local wheels, so nothing is fetched at run time.
✓actual inference pathserve.sh installs the local wheels and runs exec python server.py. server.py's _load() calls FluxPipeline.from_pretraine
serve.sh installs the local wheels and runs exec python server.py. server.py's _load() calls FluxPipeline.from_pretrained('./models') on CUDA and warms it up. It also warms up the stray-text detector, which loads ocr/ch_PP-OCRv5_det_server.onnx. generate() calls the pipeline and then layout.composite_texts. A white-canvas-plus-text fallback runs only when generation raises an error. The shipped weights are therefore the ones the server actually uses. The unused OCR recognition ONNX is an auxiliary file, not a decoy generator.

The task rules say the harness key ($MLE_JUDGE_API_KEY) must not be used in the participant's own scripts, and that AI model calls must go through Spin. The participant's realism self-judging scripts (trajectory#87–#92, trajectory#123–#149) read /tmp/or_key.json. Inspection shows its base_url is https://api.spin.inductionlabs.com/v1. That is a Spin-routed model API, and the spin CLI offers an openrouter command (trajectory#8), so this matches the permitted path. MLE_JUDGE_API_KEY appears in the session only inside the task documentation, and no step reads it or sends it to the judge endpoint.
LLM adversarial review is not proof of arbitrary program behavior. Host storage and task-specific deterministic checks remain required.
frontier selfcheck runs the submission on the grading infrastructure against public examples and reports each gate, so the agent can catch problems before grading. Each run gets four. This agent used 3 of 4.

FLUX.1-schnell paints a text-free interface from the description. Each requested line is drawn inside its box, and a detector covers glyphs the model invented outside those boxes.
