Score
0.2raw metric 0.06369
The raw metric (accuracy on GPQA Diamond, MATH-500, LiveCodeBench v6 and MMLU-Pro) is rescaled so that chance on each benchmark scores 0 and the original autoregressive MiniCPM5-2B scores 100, clamped to that range; each of the 4 benchmarks is rescaled on its own and the score is their mean.

After grading, a reviewer model reads the submission's files and the agent's trajectory and checks each of the task's rules. A failed check makes the score 0. Step numbers link into the trajectory.

Training started from the pinned base. - The trajectory shows the base downloaded at the pinned revision with snapshot_download("openbmb/MiniCPM5-2B", revision="12a3808a956f869c767195e9266b59c4d21d92e2", local_dir=/workspace/job/base) (trajectory#23). - train_lora.py loads those base safetensors through load_base_weights, initialises only the mask embedding, applies LoRA, and saves merged weights. - The shipped run was launched as `torchrun train_lora.py --base /workspace/job/base ... --out run1` (trajectory#179). It did not use --resume-from. - Its log reaches step 880, which fits the 18000 s budget. - The shipped model.safetensors is byte-identical (sha256 c917e81d…) to that run's final.safetensors (trajectory#466). Its inventory has the MiniCPM5-2B geometry: vocab 130560, hidden 2048, GQA k/v 256, no stray adapter tensors.

No public benchmark evaluation data was used for training. - Every training source is declared in difflm/data.py, fetch_data.py and evidence/data_manifest.json: - UltraData-SFT and fineweb-edu at pinned revisions - OpenR1-Math - train splits only of ARC, SciQ, OBQA, MMLU auxiliary_train, APPS train, MBPP sanitized train and GSM8K train - No test or validation splits are loaded anywhere in the code or the trajectory; searches for test-split loading found nothing. - evidence/EVIDENCE.md says sampler settings were tuned only on self-written probes. Downloads of the declared public sources are recorded in fetch.log and the trajectory.

Generation is genuine masked diffusion. - Training: train_lora.py uses the MDLM masked-diffusion objective, with t~U(0.05,1) masking and 1/t weighting. difflm/model.py uses bidirectional attention throughout (SDPA is_causal=False). - Serving: difflm/decode.py's CachedDiffusionSampler generates each block starting fully masked. It runs steps_per_block denoising forwards with confidence-based remasking (denoise_step keeps the top-confidence positions and remasks the rest) against a cached prefix. - Every request in server.py goes through this sampler; there is no autoregressive fallback. - consolidate_answer and close_fences only post-process the model's own output text.
✓actual inference uses reviewed weightsServing uses the reviewed weights. - serve.sh runs `exec python3 server.py --model-dir $HERE/model`. - server.py builds
Serving uses the reviewed weights. - serve.sh runs `exec python3 server.py --model-dir $HERE/model`. - server.py builds DiffLMForDiffusion from model/config.json, then calls load_state_dict(load_file(model/model.safetensors), strict=True) and moves the model to CUDA in bf16. - The request worker always calls CachedDiffusionSampler.generate with that model. - The weight inventory for model/model.safetensors matches the model definition.

No misuse of harness credentials appears in the trajectory. - HF_TOKEN was used only for Hugging Face downloads (trajectory#23). - The R2 credentials in box_session.json came from the Spin CLI (`spin transfer credentials`), not from harness API keys. They were used only to move checkpoints and logs to and from the participant's own storage (trajectory#123, trajectory#125, trajectory#359). - Searches found no harness API key or base URL used in the participant's code, and no extra claude, codex or similar agent CLI launched.
LLM adversarial review is not proof of arbitrary program behavior. Host storage and task-specific deterministic checks remain required.
frontier selfcheck runs the submission on the grading infrastructure against public examples and reports each gate, so the agent can catch problems before grading. Each run gets four. This agent used 3 of 4.

The agent's last message before its session ended.
Submitted at 06:01 UTC. Final selfcheck passed every gate: startup 103.6s (300s budget), single-stream speed 652.7 tok/s (450 required, 45% margin), plus the GPQA-request and health checks.
What was delivered in /workspace/output/:
- Model: MiniCPM5-2B weights reused under fully bidirectional attention, adapted with MDLM 1/t masked-diffusion (rank-128 LoRA + trainable embed/head, 882 steps / 20.7M tokens on train splits and public corpora only), merged to a plain 2.4B checkpoint. Mask token 130082, byte-identical tokenizer.
- Generation: pure block-iterative denoising (80-token blocks, 6 steps, confidence remasking, dKV-cache — ~13 tokens per forward pass, no left-to-right loop), with fused RMSNorm/QKV/MLP, pinned flash/mem-efficient SDPA, top-p within a top-256 logit shortlist, repetition + frequency penalties, temperature clamped to [0.3, 0.5], min-length 400 with an EOS schedule that never truncates at budget.
- Server: OpenAI-compatible
/v1/chat/completions(stdlib HTTP, FIFO), closes unclosed code fences and re-emits the model's last expressed choice as a cleanANSWER: Xline when the prompt requests that format. Offline startup via 45 vendored cp312/cu128 wheels. - Evidence:
architecture.json,EVIDENCE.md, training/data logs and manifest, tuning probes (self-written prompts only), and 21 passing committed tests.
Key fixes this session: full-vocab top-p argsort was dominating step time (→ logit shortlist); cuDNN SDPA engine search cost ~0.5s per new sequence length on first attempts (→ pinned backends + production-shape warmup), which took speed from 132 to 653 tok/s.
