The reviewer found a rule violation; see the Review tab.
Score
0.0
The raw metric (end-of-turn recall at 5% false positives) is rescaled so that the shipped silence heuristic (recall 0.655 at 5% false positives) scores 0 and perfect recall scores 100, clamped to that range.
After grading, a reviewer model reads the submission's files and the agent's trajectory and checks each of the task's rules. A failed check makes the score 0. Step numbers link into the trajectory.
✗causal frame probabilities
This is an established violation. Every TCN block and the output head in model.py use nn.GroupNorm(1, d) on tensors shaped (B, d, T), in TCNBlock.norm and head_norm. In PyTorch, GroupNorm with one group computes mean and variance over all channels and the whole time axis of each sample. At serving time, server.py.predict passes the entire decoded file to each model in one forward call (m(wav)). As a result, every frame's activations, including early frames, are normalized with statistics that include audio from later in the file. Future samples therefore change earlier frames' probabilities. That is non-causal normalization, not covered by the resampler tolerance. The other components are causal: the causal-padded convolutions, the one-frame mel shift, the truncated-EMA input normalization, the trailing-mean smoothing and resample_poly's short FIR filter. The whole-sequence GroupNorm alone makes the model state non-causal, despite the architecture.json and docstring claims.

The served path (serve.sh -> server.py) loads model.pt, model2.pt and model3.pt into EOTModel, a log-mel plus dilated TCN network defined in model.py. It averages their sigmoid outputs over the received audio. The weight inventories hold a complete trained TCN: blocks 0-23, which is 4 stacks, plus EOT and VA heads, matching train_mt.py's EOTModel(d=320, stacks=4, n_va=7). training/train_mt.py trains this from scratch with AdamW on the otoSpeech corpus. Per-run logs (logs/run3.log, run7.log, run8.log) and logs/selection.md record the step-2000 checkpoints that were shipped. The probabilities therefore come from a trained model applied to the supplied audio.

server.py contains no fingerprinting, hashing, transcript tables or stored timelines. It decodes the audio, resamples it with resample_poly, runs the TCN ensemble and applies a causal trailing mean. The checkpoints contain only network tensors, per the model.pt/model2.pt/model3.pt inventories. Predictions come from the received audio.

Training data is otoearth/otoSpeech-full-duplex-turn-104h at a pinned revision, downloaded by training/download_train.py via hf_hub_download, with logs/download_train.log covering 420 conversations. It is declared in architecture.json and DATA_MANIFEST.md. The benchmark docs read in the session describe it as the speaker-disjoint training split. The 8 shipped public conversations were used only for selection, which is permitted; train_mt.py's --public-jsonl flag is reported unused. A search of the trajectory found no download of mundo-ai/turn-benchmark-dev or of the JSALT derivative. The only mentions are in benchmark README text and a leaderboard inspection (trajectory#17-33, trajectory#207-231). No held-out ids appear in the training code.

A search of the trajectory found no use of ANTHROPIC/OPENAI/OPENROUTER keys or *_BASE_URL, no direct model-API calls and no additional claude/codex CLI sessions launched from the participant's commands. The HF_TOKEN was used only for read-only dataset download (training/download_train.py).
LLM adversarial review is not proof of arbitrary program behavior. Host storage and task-specific deterministic checks remain required.
frontier selfcheck runs the submission on the grading infrastructure against public examples and reports each gate, so the agent can catch problems before grading. Each run gets four. This agent used 2 of 4.

Model — 3-seed probability ensemble of causal EOT TCNs (23.0M params each, seeds 0/1/2, step-2000 checkpoints as model.pt/model2.pt/model3.pt), averaged per frame at inference, followed by a causal trailing-mean smoothing (K=30 frames = 0.6s) applied server-side.

The key technique that made this work: the recipe overfits by ~step 2000, so the win came from harvesting early checkpoints across seeds and probability-averaging them (0.31 → 0.365 over the best single), with the dud-seed discovery (AUC 0.718) justifying the 3-good-seed choice over larger pools.
