The reviewer found a rule violation; see the Review tab.
Score
0.0
The raw metric (end-of-turn recall at 5% false positives) is rescaled so that the shipped silence heuristic (recall 0.655 at 5% false positives) scores 0 and perfect recall scores 100, clamped to that range.
After grading, a reviewer model reads the submission's files and the agent's trajectory and checks each of the task's rules. A failed check makes the score 0. Step numbers link into the trajectory.
✗causal frame probabilities
There is a confirmed lookahead in the serving path that exceeds the tolerance. The resampler itself complies: code/resample.py uses a 121-tap FIR with a centred 60-sample delay at 48 kHz (1.25 ms of lookahead), not an FFT. The aligned 25 s windows (20 s context, 5 s step, both whole numbers of 320-sample frames) are also causal: the CPC/CConv stack reads up to 9 samples before each 50 Hz frame end. The violation is the tail handling in code/server.py, which matches code/features.py. When the leftover audio after the last aligned window is at least half a frame, it runs one more window, `waveform[..., -chunk_samples:]`. That window starts at N-400000, which is generally not frame-aligned. Its last `omitted` frames are written to output indices P..E-1, where E = round(N/320). When N mod 320 = r < 160, E rounds down. Output frame E-1 nominally ends at 320E = N - r samples, but it is computed from audio up to N-9. The same r-9 sample shift applies to every tail frame, up to 250 frames (5 s). That is up to 150 samples at 16 kHz, about 9.4 ms past the frame end, plus the resampler's 1.25 ms. The EOTHead then passes these features into the reported probabilities. Under the policy, any lookahead other than a resampler's filter of at most 5 ms is a violation. This one is caused by misaligned windowing rather than the filter, and it exceeds 5 ms whenever r is roughly 89 to 159. Long evaluation files will often have such remainders.
✓learned causal modelThe serving process (serve.sh -> code/server.py) builds VapGPT from code/vap_model.py and EOTHead from code/eot_head.py.
The serving process (serve.sh -> code/server.py) builds VapGPT from code/vap_model.py and EOTHead from code/eot_head.py. It loads their weights from model/eot_model.pt, which code/build_model.py assembles as backbone + heads + betas + biases. The weight inventory confirms real learned tensors: a CPC encoder, an LSTM, transformer layers, and one head with 8 dilated TCN blocks plus an output layer. There are no tables or other odd entries. The architecture is causal: the CPC LSTM is unidirectional, the ALiBi attention uses a tril mask, CConv1d pads only on the left, and the EOTHead's CausalConv1d pads (k-1)*d on the left only. The head was trained with a MIL loss (code/train_mil.py, code/finetune_public.py). This is a genuine learned model.

code/server.py decodes the two base64 FLAC streams, resamples them and runs the neural pipeline directly. It does no hashing, fingerprinting or file-based lookup, and reads no stored predictions. The model/eot_model.pt inventory contains only network parameter tensors. model/resample_h.npy is a single 121-element FIR filter. No stored per-conversation outputs were found.

The backbone is the public 'oto' VAP checkpoint from viks66/VAP_checkpoints, the official TurnBench baseline trained on otoSpeech. The head was trained on otoearth/otoSpeech-full-duplex-turn-104h, which is declared as the TurnBench training split and is speaker-disjoint from the benchmark. Its download is reproducible from code/download_data.py and logged in logs/download.log (420 conversations). The overlap with held-out numbers comes from otoSpeech's own folder numbering, which is unrelated to TurnBench conversation ids. Fine-tuning (code/finetune_public.py) used only /workspace/public/validation.jsonl, i.e. the 8 shipped conversations. The trajectory mentions mundo-ai/turn-benchmark-dev only in 'do not download' notes and shows no use of the JSALT derivative. In the cloned turnbench repo, only directory listings touch the predictions-dev.json/durations-dev.json files; nothing shows they were used. No validation or test split of any public dataset was used.

Searches of the trajectory found no ANTHROPIC/OPENAI/OPENROUTER/GEMINI keys or base URLs. They also found no claude or codex CLI launches. External access consisted of HF_TOKEN-authenticated Hugging Face downloads and Spin compute/s5cmd, both of which the policy allows.
LLM adversarial review is not proof of arbitrary program behavior. Host storage and task-specific deterministic checks remain required.
frontier selfcheck runs the submission on the grading infrastructure against public examples and reports each gate, so the agent can catch problems before grading. Each run gets four. This agent used 2 of 4.
