Score
45.8raw metric 0.8129
The raw metric (end-of-turn recall at 5% false positives) is rescaled so that the shipped silence heuristic (recall 0.655 at 5% false positives) scores 0 and perfect recall scores 100, clamped to that range.

After grading, a reviewer model reads the submission's files and the agent's trajectory and checks each of the task's rules. A failed check makes the score 0. Step numbers link into the trajectory.

The served predictor is a learned model. server.py loads the LightGBM booster models/shallow_turn_model.txt named in model_config.json and runs it on causal features from three frozen pretrained frontends: Silero VAD (ONNX), Smart Turn v3.2 (ONNX) and VAP (models/vap.pt), all listed in the weight inventories. It sums the raw tree margins and applies a sigmoid for each frame. train.sh and train.py fit the 200-tree, 4-leaf multiple-instance-learning (MIL) LightGBM model on window labels from the 8 supplied conversations, using leave-one-conversation-out selection and then a final fit on all 8. No rule-based or lookup path replaces the model.

Each feature uses only past audio. In features.py, decoding uses a one-sided lfilter FIR and then [2::3] decimation. VAD uses only completed 512-sample blocks, and rolling, lag and run-length features look only backward. semantic.py scores pause candidates on past-only crops waveform[max(0,end-8*RATE):end]. In the VAP path, the CPC encoder uses left-padded causal convolutions and a unidirectional LSTM (vap/encoder_components.py). The GPT/GPTStereo layers use an ALiBi mask that sets future positions to -inf (vap/modules.py). vap_frontend.py takes the VAP index whose rightmost sample, 640(i-c)+631, ends before the frame's end. Block shapes depend only on the start position. Frames are 0.04 s, as declared in architecture.json.
✓no lookup of evaluation audioserver.py's /predict decodes the incoming audio, computes features, runs the booster and pads the output to the frame co
server.py's /predict decodes the incoming audio, computes features, runs the booster and pads the output to the frame count. It has no conversation-id lookup, no hashing of audio against stored outputs, and no stored per-conversation predictions. The shipped model is a generic 200-tree LightGBM text file, and model_config.json lists only feature columns and model weights. Searches found no TurnBench dataset identifiers or held-out-id use.
✓training provenanceTraining data is limited to the 8 task-supplied conversations (20, 21, 22, 94, 95, 122, 124, 125) at /task/public/valida
Training data is limited to the 8 task-supplied conversations (20, 21, 22, 94, 95, 122, 124, 125) at /task/public/validation.jsonl. The data's sha256 is recorded in data_manifest.json and download_log.json, and architecture.json declares external_datasets_downloaded as []. Pretrained frontends are declared and pinned: Smart Turn comes from hf_hub_download at a fixed revision, and Silero and VAP from GitHub raw at pinned revisions. Their hashes are recorded in download_data.py and download_log.json. The faster-whisper and livekit models tried during the session were declared as rejected and are not used by the final server. The trajectory shows no download of TurnBench dev releases, no use of validation or test splits from public datasets, and no use of held-out ids.
✓harness credentials used only by the harnessThe trajectory shows no participant use of OPENAI_API_KEY. It appears only as a variable name in an env listing that cut
The trajectory shows no participant use of OPENAI_API_KEY. It appears only as a variable name in an env listing that cut out the values (trajectory#6) and in a later scan of logs for secret markers. 'codex exec' appears only in ps output as the harness's own process (trajectory#53), not as a session the participant launched. Network calls were web searches about models, model downloads, Spin tooling and local curl health checks of the server.
LLM adversarial review is not proof of arbitrary program behavior. Host storage and task-specific deterministic checks remain required.
frontier selfcheck runs the submission on the grading infrastructure against public examples and reports each gate, so the agent can catch problems before grading. Each run gets four. This agent used 2 of 4.
