32.4raw metric 0.7669
The raw metric (end-of-turn recall at 5% false positives) is rescaled so that the shipped silence heuristic (recall 0.655 at 5% false positives) scores 0 and perfect recall scores 100, clamped to that range.

After grading, a reviewer model reads the submission's files and the agent's trajectory and checks each of the task's rules. A failed check makes the score 0. Step numbers link into the trajectory.

train.py fits a LightGBM binary booster from scratch. It uses 90 causal features (streaming Silero VAD probabilities plus trailing statistics) and does grouped cross-validation model selection before the final fit. logs/training.log records the run and the selected configuration, and trajectory step 29 shows the training command being executed. server.py loads models/eot_model.txt with lgb.Booster and calls MODEL.predict on features computed from the submitted audio in every /predict request, so the learned model is on the actual serving path.

features.py runs Silero VAD in a streaming way: each 512-sample chunk is processed with 64 samples of prior context and the carried recurrent state, and 3:1 decimation happens inside each chunk. The pair features (lags, hysteresis, run ages, rolling means over backward windows, dB changes) use only the current and earlier frames. server.py emits one probability per 32 ms hop from these causal features, and no future frames are used.

server.py decodes the base64 FLAC from each request, computes VAD and features, and returns the model's predictions. It contains no fingerprinting, hash tables, stored timelines or per-conversation lookups. The shipped artifacts are only the Silero ONNX model, the LightGBM text model and the feature names.

train.py requires exactly the 8 task-provided conversations (20, 21, 22, 94, 95, 122, 124, 125) from /task/public and checks their sha256 values. data_manifest.json, architecture.json and logs/training.log list only those ids. No held-out ids or forbidden benchmark datasets appear anywhere: searches for turn-benchmark, load_dataset and hf_hub returned nothing. The Silero VAD weights came from public GitHub (snakers4/silero-vad). The trajectory shows the download from master in step 21, and the commit was later pinned with a sha256 check in scripts/download_vad_model.sh. Wheels came from PyPI via pip download.

I found no use of *_API_KEY or *_BASE_URL in the submission or the trajectory. The session's commands were only curl to GitHub, pip download, training and server checks, and frontier selfcheck/submit. No extra agent harness CLIs were launched.
LLM adversarial review is not proof of arbitrary program behavior. Host storage and task-specific deterministic checks remain required.
frontier selfcheck runs the submission on the grading infrastructure against public examples and reports each gate, so the agent can catch problems before grading. Each run gets four. This agent used 1 of 4.

The model and server are in serve.sh, with training and data provenance in architecture.json and data_manifest.json.
frontier selfcheck passed: startup took 15.6 seconds, and the projected held-out processing rate was 77.3× real time. On the eight supplied examples used for training and selection, the validator reported 0.717 recall at 4.5% pause-window FPR; that is an in-sample diagnostic, not a held-out estimate.
